Full D1 is defined as TV/DVD Video by the National Television Standards Committee (NTSC). Full D1 on every channel is the best that CCTV DVR technoogy offers.
Our High-end DVRs utilize H.264 Compression Technology for 3x longer video storage times and better video quality than the older MPEG and MPEG4 technology of the past. The ENTERPRISE DVR offers 480 Frames per Second D1 Recording and Playback.
D-1 resolution is 720 × 480 for NTSC systems and 720 × 576 for PAL systems; these resolutions come from Rec. 601 and are also used in DVD-Video and Standard-definition television.
